1 Introduction

For Metelli S.p.A. the protection of privacy is of primary importance, and we are aware of your interest in how your personal data is used.

This policy describes the methods for processing the personal data acquired directly or through third parties. The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to provide the maximum transparency with regard to the information that Metelli S.p.A. collects and how it is used.

2 General principles and commitment towards the protection of privacy

Metelli S.p.A. is committed to protect your right to privacy. Our objective is to protect all personal data that we hold in order to manage your personal data responsibly and in a transparent manner. We are committed therefore to abide by the following general principles:

3 Collected data and purposes

3.1 Navigation data

IT systems and software procedures implemented for the operation of the website www.metelligroup.it acquire, during their regular operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit when using Internet communication protocols.

This data category includes IP addresses or domain names of computers and terminals used by users, URI/URL (Uniform Resource Identifier/Locator) addresses of the requested resources, the time-stamp of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the obtained response file, the numerical code showing the status of the response provided by the server (success, error, etc.) and other parameters related to the operating system and the user IT environment.

3.3 Data collected with the user consent

Through the form Career we collect personal contact data and further data included in your CV, such as for example your professional experience, education, professional references, if you decide to apply for a position with us. If you send your CV to apply for a professional position, you are the only one responsible for the pertinence and correctness of the sent data. If the sent CV does not bear the authorisation to the treatment of the personal data, it will be immediately deleted.
  2. Through the Newsletter form, which allows the subscription to the newsletter that provides information about new products, initiatives and events of Metelli Group to subscribers. This forms requires the e-mail address. The subscription is subject to the provision of the specific, free and informed consent. Data are stored until the user freely unsubscribes from the newsletter service. This can be done at any time through the link embedded in each sent message. These data can be used to send communications to the user, also of commercial nature, related to Services and Products for which the user has expressed interest.

Data are stored for a period of time that is compatible with the purpose of their collection.

4 Legal basis for the processing

The processing of personal data is aimed at providing the requested products and services. and is therefore necessary for the fulfilment of legal and contractual obligations. Any refusal to supply them in whole or in part may give rise to the impossibility of providing the services requested.

6 Transfer of personal data outside of the EU

Personal Data will be processed and stored on servers located in the EU of the Owner and/or duly appointed third parties. Data will not be transferred outside of the European Union.
