VALVE GUIDES

We make intake and exhaust valve guides using ferrous or non-ferrous metals. The cast iron (ferrous) is more resistant to wear, while copper based alloys (non ferrous) provide optimal heat conductivity. Then we make valve guides in sintered steel. With self-lubricating properties and greater resistance to high temperatures, these are ideal for aspirated and turbocharged engines with very high performance.

G1,5= sorbite-perlite cast iron matrix, Cr=1,2-1,5% Mo=1,2-1,5%
Benefit: Good resistance to wear and hardness at high temperatures.
MD02= steel with 12% Cr ledeburitic structure.
Benefits:Very high resistance to wear due to complex carbide structure
Good resistance to shock
Good resistance and no deformation in hot conditions
Very good resistance to heat oxidation at temperatures over 700° C
Brinell hardness = 400-425

VALVE SEATS

Our ferrous valve seats are made with temperature resistant steel and special cast iron. Then, for greater heat conduction, we make sintered valve seats using metals and carbides with high mechanical and thermal properties.

VALVE SEAT INSERTS IN SINTERED STEEL

S04= Cobalt-Molybdenum sintered steel alloy containing solid material parts
Benefits: Lubricating power even at high temperatures (900°C).
Lubricating power even at high temperatures (900°C).
High performances and reduced emissions (environmental)
High resistance to wear both in terms of abrasion and of pounding-in.
Compatible with heads made of both aluminium and cast-iron.
Developed for high-performance induction and supercharged engines – petrol, diesel and gas.
S07= cobalt-molybdenum steel alloy with copper infiltration
Benefits:Improved running performance at any temperature due to unique steel/copper structure with increased density.
High mechanical performance: tensile strength, elongation, shock resistance, wear resistance and hammering resistance, even in heavy-duty operating conditions.

VALVE SHIMS & ADJUSTING PADS

Made with case-hardening steel, the accuracy of our valve shims is measured in hundredths of a millimetre. This enables them to meet the small tolerances demanded. In fact, the increments of sizes are just five hundredths of a millimetre.
