BRAKE CYLINDERS, FOR SAFETY IN POLE POSITION

Metelli brake cylinders are produced with the same original equipment technologies. In fact Metelli supplies the main manufacturers of braking systems. All Metelli brake cylinders components undergo checks during the production phase to ensure the compliance with the strictest standards. Low pressure pneumatic tightness tests are carry out on 100% of assembled products by using high-precision certified instruments, which ensure the product reliability.

BRAKE MASTER CYLINDERS, FOR SAFETY IN POLE POSITION

Metelli Group brake master cylinders are produced with the same technologies of OE products. As the main brake system suppliers, all Metelli Group brake master cylinder components are tested during the production phase to ensure compliance with the highest quality standard. Low pressure pneumatic seal tests are carried out on the 100% of products assembled using high certified equipment precision ensuring product reliability.

PRESSURE REGULATING VALVE

The pressure regulating valve works for adjusting the hydraulic pressure delivered to the brake wheel cylinders or brake calipers in keeping with the pressure exerted on the brake pedal and the vehicle load. The range of pressure regulating valve covers almost all the vehicles that require this component. The high production technology and the mounting of these components ensures the high quality of our product, complying with all the OE specifications.

SLAVE CYLINDER AND CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDERS

The clutch master cylinder transforms the pressure exerted on the pedal into hydraulic pressure, transferring it to the slave cylinderthat activates the clutch disc via the clutch thrust bearing. Our range of clutches is growing continuously, divided into:

    - clutch master cylinder (60% of European car parc)
    - slave cylinders (50% of European car parc)

All our references are scrupulously tested following the OE specification.

CONCENTRIC CLUTCH CYLINDERS, TWO SOULS ONE HEART

In modern cars, the force applied to the pedal, within the clutch system, is transmitted by hydraulic systems and no longer by mechanical systems. The concentric slave cylinder combines the functions of the thrust bearing and slave cylinder in one unit. In this way, the release fork between the bearing and the secondary cylinder is eliminated. The clutch is then operated directly by the concentric actuator, which performs the functions of the slave cylinder and thrust bearing. The concentric slave cylinder - often referred to simply as CSC - is positioned directly in the bell housing outside the gearbox shaft. The system works without running clearances and is self-adjusting, thereby maintaining the system's constant functionality throughout the operating life of the clutch plate. The CSC must be changed each time the clutch plate is replaced.
